Description
Cagey House has been releasing music since 2005. Their music is characterized by an underlying pop cheeriness, but they also display a healthy disregard for structure and a fondness for abstraction. The tracks in “Stations Alive” exemplify this by featuring melodies and rhythms that emerge from the general chaos, only to float away without any adherence to traditional verse or chorus structures. This creates an effect that is both disorienting and engaging.
