Description

RENEGADE ANDROiD is the primary noise and “musical” project of Shawn Shackelford, an American-born non-android. “Newlease” is his fifth release. Besides RENEGADE ANDROiD, Shawn has also released an album under the name ‘Unseelie’ (pronounced un-see-lee) and has collaborated on other projects in the past. Shawn’s formative years were in the late 1970s, during the era of the Atari 800 Home PC and other vintage gaming consoles. These electronics provided him with musical inspiration that is as ubiquitous as modern electronics are now seamlessly integrated into our daily lives.
